Description

Prerequisites for students in the M.Sc. track:

Bachelor's degree in a suitable field or equivalent studies, and a good knowledge of English.

The student’s BSc studies need to include the following or equivalent studies, and if not, they need to be studied and can be included in the Free Choice Studies category.

• Mathematics, 10 ETCS or equivalent

• COMP.CS.300 Data Structures and Algorithms 1

• COMP.SE.100 Introduction to Software Engineering

• COMP.SE.610 Software Engineering Project 1

• DATA.DB.100 Database Basics.


Objectives

After completing the Software, Web & Cloud specialisation the student will have the skills and knowledge to

- understand and master modern software engineering practices

- work in a collaborative manner with others to design, implement and test demanding software systems in a predictable way

- manage and improve software development processes

- understand, design and implement web and cloud-based systems

- undertake doctoral studies on software related topics or an R&D career in industry.
