This course introduces key actors and agendas of global health policy, global health governance, globalization and health, global health issues, such as climate change and planetary health, and global health and human rights. The course discusses global health policy agendas and law and introduces Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). It supports students capacity to engage with global governance, global health politics, how global phenomena influence health as well as to understand how global and national public and private actors are shaping of policy-making and accountability at global, national and community levels.
