Elävän luonnon molekyylien rakenteeseen ja toimintaan keskittyvä opintojakso. Pääpaino on ihmisen energia-aineenvaihdunnassa, solujen keskeisten biomolekyylien rakentumisessa ja hajotuksessa sekä aineenvaihdunnan säätelyssä.
