Introduction to North American Studies, 5 cr

This independent written work course is an introduction to the multidisciplinary study of social institutions. Students will consult with the Professor in North American Studies regarding a topic of their written work. The students will write an essay of roughly 20 pages, based on recent literature (using at least five journal articles and/or books as sources) to reflect on the topic.
