  • Interactions between the electronics and bioelectic sytems of the body - cells and tissue. Neural interaction and meuromuscular cstimulation and control
  • Wireless energy and data transfer for implantable systems.
  • Implantable sensors and actuators.
  • Clinical applications of neural intrfaces and implantable systems.
  • Interconnection with in vitro and in-vivo neuronal networks: stimulation and measurements, electrodes and electric stimulation, neural control.

  • Bioelectric phenomena and cell interactions.
  • Electromagnetic waves and RFID systems.
  • Sensor systems and sensor design, MEMS systems.
  • Physiology and anatomy of neuromuscular systems.
  • Biolectricity and its theory, cellular systems, cell membrane ion pumps and channels.

  • Modelling of bioloical systems in neural interactions.
  • Power dissipation in tissues, safety and standards.
