  • The meaning of culture in designing and using technology
  • The basic concepts of cross-cultural design
  • Theories of cultural differences (e.g. meta-models and cultural models) and how they can be utilized in design
  • Methods of cross-cultural design and evaluation in foreign cultures

  • Familiarizing with theories of culture, different cultures and makes points of the culturally dependent aspects in the globalizing world by combining information from different sources

Completion option 1
Group assignment including active participation to the cultural re-design process, report writing and presentation. Two individual assignments including literature review. Elecronic exam. For all of the partial requirements, half of the maximum points are needed to pass the course.
