The course includes the lectures on numeric computation in physics. During lectures, students practise useful Matlab coding and computations for the level which is needed in project works.

The course includes also three project works in following subjects:

Gas analysis - determination the concentrations in gaseous sample using NDIR-spectroscopy
Cloud formation - determination particle size distribution in aerosol
Energy spectrum analysis - Compton scattering spectrum measurements and analysis

Studies that include this course

Completion option 1

Lectures in period I and three project works in different subjects in physics in periods II-IV. The projects are performed as pair work. Every project includes written prereport, measurements in physics laboratory, results analysis and the final seminar. In final seminar, each pair presents the project. It is compulsory to participate in every learning event.
