Methodologies outline the general research strategies of how research is conducted. They are the theoretical structure that situate how research questions are answered with specific tools, i.e. methods. This course gives an overview of key game studies methodologies, their connections to theories and concepts, and their applicability.


Prerequisites: recommended: VIMO programme intermediate level methodology studies ('MEDA6 Tutkimustyön perusteet’) or corresponding methodology studies from another field
