The day of any character in Identity V always begins with a clear premise: you must try to survive. Every day is a new chance to die or stay alive. It is not a game with history, since the game is repeated in the same way every time you start a new one. Therefore, a day in this game always follows the same patterns and the same goal. Once you select your character, you can make him a great survivor, since you will earn points and money through the games with which to improve his abilities and accessories, but the game will not progress in any other way than the first time.

Starting from this point, once you have selected your character the day begins. You appear in the middle of one of the scenarios that the game selects at random. Suppose you have appeared in one of the snowy winter woods. Being there, you must start running, time and the villain are against you. When you start running, your mission will be to decode 5 machines that will allow you to escape from that place and from the hunter.

The hunter is after you and your partner and you must dodge him and avoid him seeing you. While decoding one of these machines, one of your teammates has been captured by the hunter. Now he is in a chair tied up and you can choose to save him or not. You must think that to win, at least half of your team must remain. For this reason, on many occasions you will go to save these players.

On your way to save them you can be captured by the hunter in the same way, so you must go carefully and quietly. Once you reach the chair, you must be quick and agile, as the hunter may be hovering around you. If you manage to save your partner, you will have to heal him, because half of his life will have disappeared. You must be attentive and on guard all the time because you do not know when you can be seen by the hunter. Likewise, depending on your selected character, you will have one or other abilities that you can use for your own benefit or that of your companions against the hunter. For example, if you are Emma Woods, the gardener, one of your abilities will be to destroy hunter chairs. The more you destroy, the more difficult it will be for the hunter to seat his victims.

In the middle of your quest to decode these machines you may be captured by the hunter. You should try to put up a fight when he grabs you and hopefully your skills will allow you to get out of his arms before he sits you in his chair. If you succeed you will be injured but alive, and you must run to lose sight of the hunter. If you find yourself injured, you will have to ask one of your teammates for help through one of the predetermined phrases that
the game allows you to send. And it will heal you.

If you manage to decode 5 of the machines, you must run to the exit door. To do this you have a map that you must follow and once you get there, you must decode the door in the same way for 20 seconds. All this without the hunter catching you, something quite complicated. If you succeed, you will have survived the game and your day. The game
ends and the day too.
