The course will focus on the basics of cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience, especially on the information processing related to perception, attention, and memory. The course will deal with the most typical methods of investigation in these fields, the main neuroanatomical structures, and how the brain is involved in the processing of sensory information, motor control, and orienting of attention.

General written exam and three written essays. A book exam on electronic exam. For the topics of the essays, please, contact the person in charge of the course. Returning of the essays will be agreed upon with the person in charge of the course.
