Sisällön kuvaus
KATVAA11 Yritysetiikka (Business Ethics) on pakollinen ensimmäinen
opintojakso tämän teemamoduulin suorittamisessa. KATVAA11 Yritysetiikka
(Business Ethics) tai vastaavat opinnot muusta korkeakoulusta tulee olla
suoritettuna ennen kuin muista moduulin kursseista voi saada
opintosuorituksen. Mikäli olet suorittanut vastaavia opintoja muussa
korkeakoulussa, olethan yhteydessä opettajaan teemamoduulin
suorittamiseen liittyen.Osaamistavoitteet
The student understands the relationships between business, society and
nature and is familiar with the challenges related to their
interlinkages. The student knows the theoretical underpinnings of
business ethics, corporate social responsibility, and sustainability.
The student is able to identify and apply tools for organisational
accountability and responsible business practices.
Lisätiedot
The thematic module Responsible business and sustainability consists of four courses, each 5 ECTS.
To complete the module (module grade), the students are required to complete a minimum of 20 ECTS including courses KATVAA11-14.
Teaching language: English
The TUNI-degree students and Open University students study in same study groups.
Please note, it´s not possible to complete the whole module after 13.12.2020.

Please notice that the course KATVAA11 has to be completed before the beginning of, or during, courses KATVAA12; KATVAA13; KATVAA14.
Courses KATVAA11-KATVAA14 each have two courses during the academic year 2020-2021, student enroll to one course e.g KATVAA11 lectures or KATVAA11 Online teaching.

Business ethics (Yritysetiikka), Online lectures 14.1.–25.2.2021. Lectures will be held online on Thursdays fom
9-12. In order to complete the course students are required to participate
to the lectures and complete the course in English.

KATVAA14 Business, society and nature, Online teaching in spring 2021, 11.1. – 28.2.2021. This course is cancelled.
KATVAA14 Business, society and nature, Online teaching in autumn 2020, I-II -periods. This
course can be completed in either English or Finnish. The course consists of an reflektive essay.
OR
KATVAA14 Business, society and nature, Independent Project in spring and summer 2021, 8.3. – 31.7.2021. This
course can be completed in either English or Finnish. The course consists of an reflective essay.
