Inclusive Cities is a challenge-based hackathon for higher education students for creating more inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable city – in the spirit of the United Nations Sustainable Development goal 11. Partners include Vapriikki, International House Tampere, Tays, Heureka and Helmet libraries.
The students will be working in teams, solving real-life challenges in inclusive city development in healthcare, social services, culture, mobility and business. We are looking especially for solutions that are scalable and utilize existing and, perhaps, forthcoming data resources using easily adopted low-coding tools, provided by Microsoft.
Prize pool is 7500 €, and winners get to discuss about the realization of their idea with the challenge partners.
