Have you ever wondered how a career counsellor can help you in your studies? Have you thought about how to contact a study psychologist? Or has there been confusion on the situations where you should send a message to a student counsellor?
These questions and more will be answered when the guidance services hold their service introductions in Navigaattori 7-9 September. The week's timetable is as follows:
- Wednesday 7 September, 13-14: Career counsellor (in Finnish)
- Thursday 8 September, 13-14: Career counsellor (in English)
- Thursday 8 September, 14-15: Special study arrangements
- Friday 9 September, 12-13: Student counsellor
- Friday 9 September 13-14: Study psychologist & Student's Compass online tool
These sessions are meant to offer an opportunity for students to discuss the available services in detail with the guidance and counselling staff. The sessions do not allow for a detailed of confidential discussion about your situation, but the experts will brief you on how to book an individual counselling time, should that be necessary.
Attending the sessions does not require advance registration or preparation. It is enough just to drop by the sessions during the opening hours. Read more about the University-wide guidance and counselling services on the Student's Guide.
The Navigaattori space in Linna can be found in the 2nd floor lobby, next to the main entrance to the library. Read more about Navigaattori on the service's own handbook site. On the page you will always find the up-to-date information on the services on campus and online.
Welcome to Navigaattori!
