For example, studying intermediate studies may require some completed basic studies. These are described on the Information about studies tab of the study unit under prior requirements.</p><p>When you have been admitted to the studies, you must enrol separately via the Sisu information system for the implementation of the unit of study and, for example if set, for a practise group of your choice. You will receive instructions on how to do this by e-mail after you have confirmed your acceptance of the study place by paying the required fee.</p>

<p>Student having taken the course are expected to have a solid understanding of modern Wind Energy Conversion (WEC) Systems; the way WEC systems make optimum use of the wind resource available, the role that power electronic converters play in modern WEC systems, on the impact of wind farms in the electrical power system from the steady-state and the dynamic vantages, and on the impacts of large-scale wind power in the electricity market.</p><p>Student has capability to model and analyse the electrical performance and impacts of a wind farm on power system. Student have also good understanding and capability to argue for different interacting elements of wind turbines, power system and electricity market.<br></p>

<h2>Prerequisites</h2>Recommended prerequisites are according to its name recommended.
