Talent Traction: Co-Creating Multicultural Workplace

Network for a great job by helping Finnish employers to find new and innovative ways to recruit international talent! In this training, you will learn Service Design, improve your Finnish language skills and network with professionals in the field of your interest. By co-creating and improving Finnish businesses’ readiness to recruit and successfully employ international employees, you will also improve your own understanding of Finnish work life. The training is a work-oriented, targeted training for international talents who enjoy learning new things, have great communication and social skills and are ready to take initiatives.

By taking part in this new and innovative training you will: 

  • Improve your own employment opportunities 

  • Learn about yourself and learn to describe yourself and your strengths, skills and passions to potential employers and/or business partners 

  • Practice your Finnish language skills in practice 

  • Learn new business skills 

  • Strengthen your professional network 

  • Promote integration in Finland 

  • Help other international talents to prosper in Finland 

  • Improve Finnish society on the whole

 

The studies are primarily targeted at international talents with a higher education degree who are unemployed or at risk of unemployment. Studying is full-time and a significant part of the training is on-the-job learning. 

The training lasts about seven (7) months. In the training, you will receive working life-oriented teaching and hear visiting experts from the different areas of Finnish working life. 

The training will take place on 17.01.2022–17.8.2022. It is funded by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, and thus it is free of charge for the students. 

Content

  • Finnish Working Life and Career Planning (5 ECTS) 

  • Finnish Language(5 ECTS) 

  • Service Design (5 ECTS) 

  • Facilitation and Dialogic Interaction (5 ECTS) 

  • On-the-Job Learning Period (10 ECTS)
