After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- name specific information sources in their field and systematically search for information
- evaluate information critically and use it ethically as a part of a thesis
- deliver scientific presentations and communicate research results to a broad audience
- actively participate in scientific discussion
A seminar series where the students give presentations regarding their Master's thesis work followed by active scientific discussion by all participants. Each student delivers two presentations, first highlighting the plans for their Master's thesis work and then the results obtained. The topics covered include background of the research topic, specific aims, research methods, interpretation of results and conclusions with possible future directions. The library organizes lectures and training on acquisition of scientific data.
