These are described on the Information about studies tab of the study unit under prior requirements.When you have been admitted to the studies, you must enrol separately via the Sisu information system for the implementation of the unit of study and, for example if set, for a practise group of your choice. You will receive instructions on how to do this by e-mail after you have confirmed your acceptance of the study place by paying the required fee.

After completing this course the student...<ol><li>Understands the value of usability and user experience to the end user, business and society as a whole and what factors affect usability and user experience.</li><li>Recognizes important styles of human-technology interaction. Has knowledge of the history of HTI and its effects on design now, and is aware of interaction trends and the role of ethics and sustainability in design.</li><li>Knows how to apply human-centered design methods in practice: applying models of human-technology interaction; creating preliminary sketches of user interfaces; utilizing design and evaluation principles in expert evaluation.</li><li>Understands common practices in usability and user experience work in relation to agile product development.</li></ol>
