At the conclusion of this course, student will have achieved the following learning outcomes:
understands the key dimensions, challenges and themes of sustainable development
knows currents topics and perspectives of research on global education
can apply global education in different educational settings and design a learning environment for enhancing the aims of global education
can collaborate in culturally and linguistically diverse learning environment
On Global Education –course, different dimensions of sustainable development will be examined as well as research on global education and its pedagogical applications in various learning environments.

This is a bilingual course in which teaching and seminars will be arranged in English but the students can write their written assignment either in English or in Finnish.
