How to apply for exchange studies at Tampere University of Applied Sciences

Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) welcomes exchange students from international partner universities with whom we have a bilateral exchange agreement.

Exchange studies do not lead to a TAMK degree, but will be counted towards the exchange student's degree in his/her home university. Exchange studies may consist of courses, a final thesis and/or project work.

COVID-19 update: TAMK has made the decision on suspending our incoming student mobility for autumn semester 2020. The difficult decision has been made based on the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation and government restrictions that lead to, among others, uncertain and unequal possibilities in starting the exchange semester at TAMK on time and commencing studies on-site.

Despite the challenging times, we hope to welcome exchange students in Tampere in the spring semester 2021 (January–May 2021). Please contact your home university coordinator about postponing your exchange. Please note that we will expect a new home university nomination and a new application with an updated study plan in autumn 2020 from you. Also, if you need to cancel your exchange, please inform your home coordinator.
