<p>There will be a test at the beginning of the course to ensure students have adequate knowledge to enter the course, if they have not completed the prerequisite course. The test is a multiple-choice test on the content of two articles, that needs to be completed during weeks 42-43. The students will have an unlimited number of attempts on the test during that period.</p>

For example, studying intermediate studies may require some completed basic studies. These are described on the Information about studies tab of the study unit under prior requirements.</p><p>When you have been admitted to the studies, you must enrol separately via the Sisu information system for the implementation of the unit of study and, for example if set, for a practise group of your choice. You will receive instructions on how to do this by e-mail after you have confirmed your acceptance of the study place by paying the required fee.</p>

On completion of the course the student understand factors that affect data and information quality and the the reasons behind these factors. The student understands the main challenges of data and information management and governance, and can apply the core management mechanisms. The student is able to develop and improve organizational functions in different ways in terms of data and information quality.
