Sustainability Reporting and Accountability, 5 cr

The student understands the varying roles of corporate reporting in societies. The student knows the main guidelines and key principles of CSR and sustainability reporting. The student understands the principles of accountability and is able to evaluate sustainability reporting practices and frameworks from a broader societal perspective. The student is aware of the key features of research on sustainability reporting. The student is able to comprehend large amounts of information and collaborate with others.
Topics covered include but are not limited to: Concepts of corporate responsibility, sustainability, and corporate social reporting; The principles of corporate social responsibility reporting; Sustainability reporting standards and guidelines. Principles of accountability. Role of reporting in societies.
The course is available only for students registered for the LFC-program (Leadership for Change). Completing the course will include two parts: (1) taking part in the lecture course Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting; (2) Additional in-depth assignments as appointed by the lecture. The parts are to be completed jointly.
