After completing the course the student

• knows and is able to apply
      basic principles of working in a laboratory environment
• can interpret the results of
      conducted laboratory work and is able to report them according to academic
      instructions
• knows the rules and
      instructions related to laboratory work
• is able to work safely in the
      laboratory when instructed orally and in a written format
• masters the basic first aid
      skills

The course introduces basic laboratory skills needed in biomedical engineering laboratories. The course includes skills to conduct basic laboratory measurements and how to report their results in academic format.
