About me

I received the MSc degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Croatia, in 1998 and the Dr. Sc. (Tech.) degree in information technology from Tampere University of Technology, Finland, in 2003. Since 1998, I am with the Tampere University (former Tampere University of Technology), where I currently work as an Assistant Professor.

My main research area is plenoptic imaging. In this area, I am developing models and computational methods for 3D image applications using high-dimensional, multi-modal, and hyper-spectral data. The main question that I am trying to address with my research is: How can we achieve the best possible visualization of 3D content?
