The Tampere Region Safety and Security Cluster brings together people and organisations to share knowledge and develop new ideas, concepts and approaches to improve safety and security.
Our members include educational and research institutions, public agencies and non-profits.
The Police University College was responsible for coordinating the cluster 2011–2014, Tampere University of Applied Sciences 2014–2017 and Tampere University 2018–2020.
From the beginning of the year 2021 Business Tampere, the economic development agency of the Tampere region, has taken over the coordination of the Tampere Region Safety and Security Cluster.

We have received the Finnish Security Award in recognition of our work in promoting collaboration in the safety and security sector. We are committed to finding solutions to local, national and global safety challenges through collaboration.
