Introduction

Computer modelling and simulations, often referred to as "in silico" methods, constitute a burgeoning field in biological and physiological research, providing a versatile toolbox. We have strong expertise in modelling the biophysical and physiological functions at various scales, spanning from individual cells to entire organs and the comprehensive level of the human body. Our competence extends to capturing the dynamics of drug effects, phenotypic alterations in diseases, and the impact of external factors, such as temperature.

The modelling techniques that we use encompass a broad spectrum, ranging from compartmental models to finite element models. This diversity allows enables different ways to account for the basic nature of spatio-temporal phenomena, geometries of the systems, and more.

Our modelling endeavors seamlessly align with the concurrent development and utilization of innovative bioelectric and biomechanical measurements devices, as well as data analysis software.
