Personalized Prevention for Coronary Heart Disease

The objective is to significantly reduce premature deaths and severe disabilities in patients with coronary heart disease.

Goal

EU-funded CoroPrevention project aims to discover long-term behavior changes and lifestyle improvements as well as medications needed by individual patients with coronary heart disease to prevent another cardiovascular event.

The project’s objective is to significantly reduce premature deaths and severe disabilities in patients with coronary heart disease in Europe. The CoroPrevention project studies 12,000 patients from six EU countries.

1.     Prospectively evaluate clinical utility of personalized prevention in CHD
2.     Evaluate health economic and social benefits of the personalized prevention in CHD
3.     Discover predictive markers of drug treatment response in CHD
4.     Improve current ESC guidelines based on RCT validated clinical data
5.     Disseminate the refined prevention program to the attention of practitioners, patients, health care payers and policy makers

TAMK works as a 3rd party partner for TAU and the project and produces in TAMK Mediapolis about 400 videos (acted, testimonials, animations) for the project's health app (including 8 language versions).
