Research group
Metaplasmonics
Our group focuses on engineering the fundamental interaction between light and novel materials at the nanometer scale.
Research focus and goals
Metamaterial and Plasmonic Devices Group focuses on engineering the fundamental interaction between light and matter and applying this understanding to light trapping, energy collection and extraction, communication, and sensor applications.
Our studies involve novel metamaterial and plasmonic structures, and quantum materials; with reduced dimensions, improved performances, and unique functionalities.
Impact
Engineer the interaction of light and matter to overcome some of the current limitations in photonic devices
