Interpreting studio consists of premises and equipment that are well-suited for research and teaching of simultaneous interpreting. The premises could be also used for purposes of other fields of research, for instance, such as speech and voice research.
Interpreting studio allows:
- Transmission of audio signal into three separate interpreter booths.
- Transmission of speech signal between the interpreter booths and from the interpreter booths to portable pocket-sized receivers and headphones (30 pcs).
- Recording of the interpreters’ speech and the audio material that is being interpreted on separate channels of a stereo audio file for purposes of post-processing and analysis.
- Organizing of multilingual seminars.
