Hidden Gems

The Hidden Gems project is aimed at researchers’ spouses. The most common challenges for spouses in finding a job is lack of local contacts and professional network. International job seekers also need a lot of information on how and where to find a job. They would also benefit from career guidance. These are the challenges we are going to beat with the help of cooperation and co-creation with local small and medium-sized enterprises.

Migration to Finland is growing fast. Finland has not yet been very successful in connecting global human capital to the national innovation system. This project tries to change the pattern. Migration brings international talents who can promote business growth and internationalisation. We however need measures to transform international talents into benefit of Finnish business and industry. Another goal of this project is to attract international talents into Finland and the Tampere region.
