Tampere Universities
Duration of project1.8.2018–31.7.2021
Area of focusHealth, Society
Area of focusNew operational models for health care and social services

The main goal of the project is to create a new research, development and innovation ecosystem concerning the social welfare and health care service reform in South Ostrobothnia, Tampere and Satakunta regions.

The model of the innovation ecosystem describes how collaboration and co-creation activities are organised in social welfare and health care and how research and competences are linked to regional economy and economic renewal through development and experimentation.

In the project models for development and experimentation are tested and good practices for collaboration are recognised. In order to do that, the project utilises the principles of cyclical innovation process in which ideas for innovation and development are gathered from various groups: clients, research and specialists in the field.
