Current society faces complex societal issues that cannot be tackled through traditional governance arrangements or ideal-typical public, private or third sector organizations.
Hybridity is a rich theoretical concept that encompasses diverse institutional forms such as state-owned enterprises, social enterprises, collaborative projects between public and private sector, or organisations with multiple stakeholders and missions such as universities. How can organisations that combine different governance mechanisms and transcend boundaries of different organisations, policy domains, and jurisdictions create value?
Value of Hybridity Online Seminar is an open online seminar organised by IRSPM Special Interest Group (SIG) and Tampere University, and provides interesting content especially for students at the Faculty of Management and Business. Seminar features international speakers that are specialised in public administration, business management, political sciences and accounting, and focuses on workings and effects of hybridity in modern world.
