Are you confused about copyright transfer agreements and Creative Commons licences? Do you puzzle over the quality of different journals? If so, participate in our training Article-based dissertation – publishing & practices!

We will discuss issues related to the publication of an article-based dissertation, such as copyright and licensing. The practices of Tampere University, and the basic concepts of Open Access will be discussed as well.

When and where? Thursday 20 February at 14.15-15.30

City centre campus, Linna building, class 3022 Elina, 3rd floor

  • Copyright and licensing of articles
  • Open Access vs. subscription-based publication channels
  • Searching suitable publication channels using the JUFO Portal, the DOAJ and Sherpa/Romeo
  • The process and practices of publishing a dissertation at Tampere University

The training is already fully booked.

A similar training will be held on 7 April at 2 pm at City centre campus, Linna building.

The training is in English. No online participation.
