Tampere University’s Master’s degree programmes continue to attract applications

More than 3,700 applications were submitted to Tampere University’s international Master’s degree programmes. The number of applications grew by 5% from 2021.

Tampere University offered 35 English-language Master’s degree programmes for intake in 2022. The application period ended on 12 January 2022. Students admitted to these programmes will graduate as Masters of Arts, Masters of Social Sciences, Masters of Administrative Sciences or as Masters of Science in Economics and Business Administration, Technology or Architecture.

The total number of applications was 3,755. The most popular study options were Data Science, Computing Sciences (322 applications), Sustainable Business Management, Leadership for Change (274 applications), and Software, Web & Cloud, Computing Sciences (179 applications).

Applicants were able to apply to three programmes at the most.

The number of applicants also grew and was 2,199. The applicants represent more than 100 nationalities, and the number of Finnish applicants was 184. The percentage of non-EU and non-EEA applicants was 85 (1,873 applicants).

The application period for English-language Bachelor’s programmes will end on 19 January 2022.
