TAMK's biggest education export deal so far was sealed on 6 March.

TAMK's biggest education export deal so far was takes our four-year Media and Arts degree programme to Alexandria, Egypt. In practice, half of the programme will be taught by TAMK teachers, half by Egyptian teachers who will be trained in Finland.

Account Manager Peter Perttula from TAMK EDU tells that the deal was a result of a long process and hard work.

"This one and the previously exported degree programme in International Business have been the first full degree programmes sold to Egypt. I hope that in the future we will also see, for example, nurses and engineers getting a Finnish education in Alexandria," Perttula comments.

Carita Prokki, Director of TAMK EDU is also very happy with the trade. She recognises that it is a huge step for TAMK towards being a more international university. For her, being international means having to be open for new ways of operating.

"The future of this degree programme is a very pleasant challenge for all of us in TAMK," Prokki says.
