The American author Dacre Stoker is the son of Bram Stoker’s nephew. Bram Stoker published Dracula in 1897. Stoker’s presentation interweaves the history of Dracula with the Stoker family history.

Stoker is taking care of the Bram Stoker Estate, and his presentation includes much previously unpublished pictorial material. The public lecture is organised in connection to the Dracula exhibition at the Vapriikki museum centre but is aimed at an academic audience.

The Degree Programme in Literary Studies and the Vapriikki museum centre organise the lecture.
