Restricted collection coming to Theseus

Besides the new collection some major updates are taking place, and this means that it is not possible to submit your thesis to Theseus during 31.8.2021. Please be aware of this and submit your thesis well in advance.

In the open collection of Theseus all the pdf-files are available online for reading, but in restricted collection theses are available only in certain computers in the library. This means that it is possible to submit your thesis electronically even if you don’t want it to be online.

Because of the restricted collection, there is no need to give the library a printed copy of your thesis. Library will accept a printed copy of your thesis until the end of September, after that all theses should be submitted to Theseus, either to the open collection or to the restricted collection.

Student has the right to decide whether he/she wants to publish his/her thesis in the open collection of Theseus. Thesis is still always a public document, and this means that the university of applied sciences must always deliver a copy of thesis for reading even though the thesis was in restricted collection.
