Researchers talk about democracy in a public lecture series
The lectures will cover such topics as democracy and emergencies, municipal democracy, active citizenship, education for democracy, and the participation of young people. Some of the lectures will be given in English.
On 4 May, the final lecture in the series discusses the findings from the lectures and draws conclusions about democracy in Finland in the 2020s.
The lectures are public and free of charge. They will take place at 17–19 on Wednesdays from 9 March to 4 May. The venue is the Väinö Linna hall, K104, in the Linna building, address: Kalevantie 5. There is no lecture on 13 April.
