Open position at TAMK: Senior Lecturer, Programming

We are looking for a development oriented Senior Lecturer to teach, develop and research in the area of programming in the Degree Programme in Software Engineering.

TAMK’s School of Industrial Engineering educates future experts in the fields of industrial technology. We also carry out development and research projects with local companies in Finland, developing intelligent solutions, processes, and services with innovative methods by using the latest technology and materials and interdisciplinary digital possibilities.

You have good theoretical and current practical competence in programming. Your skills are related to web technologies, such as  

  • C / C++ programming 
  • Javascript 
  • DevOps concept and managing servers, pipeline etc.  
  • authentication technologies 
  • Fullstack. 

You are expected to have a Master's degree in a relevant field as well as three years’ work experience from the field of programming. You also have excellent communication skills and fluent English in order to succeed in the job.

Employment is permanent and starting in the spring 2022.
