The theme of the conference is "Enabling immersive audio-visual experiences for the benefit of people and industries". MMSP 2020 will be organised as a fully virtual event!

The workshop is 22nd in the series, organized by the Multimedia Signal Processing Technical Committee of the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS ), with the aim to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, passionate about multimedia signal processing, to share their knowledge, exchange ideas, explore future research directions and network.

We strive to bring the cutting-edge scientific contributions of our authors to the widest possible audience of researchers around the globe. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is offering MMSP attendance as complimentary to any attendees who are not covering a paper. Find out more about the registration here

The workshop will consist of the following live sessions: plenaries, oral and poster sessions, session breakrooms, and a panel. In addition, participants are invited to virtually join places in Finland and Tampere and exercise with happy Finnish couches.
