Docents are a central institution in the Finnish academic community, and they bring an important addition to the faculties’ research and teaching activities. With this Docent lecture series, the Faculty of Management and Business (MAB) wants to introduce the Faculty's Docents and their expertise. MAB lecture series continues with a lecture by Harri Jalonen, Professor at the University of Vaasa. The lecture can be followed online via live stream.

MAB Faculty’s Docent lecture series offers views on current issues in the fields Politics, Administrative Studies, Business Studies, Information and Knowledge Management as well as Industrial Engineering and Management.

Dr. Harri Jalonen is a Professor in the University of Vaasa. In addition to complexity thinking his research interest includes knowledge and innovation management, systemic change, value (co)creation, and public service organizations.

Harri Jalonen holds a title of Docent (Knowledge and Innovation Management) at the Faculty of Management and Business, Tampere University.

The lecture titled Complexity thinking: what, why and how will be held in English. It can be followed remotely.

Elias Pekkola, University Lecturer in Administrative Studies, will introduce the lecturer.
