Higher Education Pedagogy seminar – Pedaforum 2023 takes place in Tampere

The 2023 Higher Education Pedagogy Seminar will be held in Tampere, on the Hervanta campus on June 6-8, 2023. Call for papers opens on January 2, 2023 and abstracts can be submitted until February 14, 2023.  

The theme of the event is Towards sustainable culture of higher education pedagogy. The theme was selected based on current topics of discussion in the field of higher education pedagogy. The cross-cutting themes are sustainability and internationality; sustainability is also visible throughout the event in various practical choices, and the conference is planned in such a way that it serves the widest possible audience (e.g. some sessions in English and virtually).  

Sub-themes are: 

  1. Participatory and inclusive higher education pedagogy 
  1. The well-being of the higher education community 
  1. Operational cultures and pedagogical leadership 

Abstracts can be submitted in relation to the sub-themes mentioned above and in the following formats: 

  • Presentation 
  • Workshop 
  • Symposium 
  • Poster/e-poster 

The call for papers opens on January 2, 2023, and abstracts can be submitted until February 14, 2023. Please note that this time the submission deadline will not be extended. Decisions on accepted and rejected proposals will be made by the end of March. All authors will be notified of the final result. Registration for the event opens in March.

Pedaforum is organized by Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences. The Police University of Applied Sciences also participates in the cooperation.
