Ari Sivula is TAMK’s new vice president for RDI

Doctor of Science in Economics and Business Administration Ari Sivula, 39, was appointed as the vice president for RDI at Tampere University of Applied Sciences. He will transfer from Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences, where he has worked as the research and development manager. Sivula is an adjunct professor at the University of Vaasa.

As the vice president for RDI, Ari Sivula will lead a core activity of TAMK, which includes RDI projects, external funding, business operations and internationality. Sivula has wide experience in regional, national and international projects and innovations.

Ari Sivula tells that he values TAMK’s policies, fields of expertise and strategic choices. He describes TAMK as a developing organisation to which he brings his leadership and other expertise as well as energy.

“My background is in industrial management, innovations and data analytics. TAMK has brilliant possibilities to produce extensive results through systematic development together with others. This is strongly related to growth in external funding and extensive use of project results.”

Sivula will start in his position after the summer. He intends to move to Tampere with his family.
