Tampere University (TAU) is inviting expressions of interests to apply for the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF). The Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology invites potential postdoctoral researchers, who aim to apply for a MSCA PF and who envisage Tampere University as their host institution, to find a suitable research group or potential supervisor for the fellowship and submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) to the potential supervisor as soon as possible.

If a suitable applicant-supervisor match is made, a MSCA PF proposal will be prepared and submitted with TAU’s support.

The applicants will be informed whether they have matched with a supervisor for the MSCA PF 2022 call by 29 April. At that time, they will also receive the schedule of the MSCA PF Masterclass 2022.

All applicants that match with a supervisor and fulfil the general eligibility criteria will be invited to our Teams Masterclass course by 29 of April. The TAU MSCA PF Masterclass 2022 will help the applicants to prepare a competitive proposal, and it will start at 14.00–15.00 on 10 of May.

The Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA PF) is a mobility grant that provides funding opportunities for excellent researchers of any nationalities and research fields. The objective of the MSCA PF is to support researchers’ careers and foster excellence in research. MSCA PF targets researchers holding a PhD who wish to gain experience in other countries, disciplines, and non-academic sectors.

A MSCA PF grant usually covers two years’ salary, a mobility (and family) allowance, research costs and the overheads of the host institution. Individual researchers submit proposals for funding in liaison with their planned host organisation. The proposals are judged based on the quality of research, the researcher’s future career prospects, and the support offered by the host organisation.
