The Library offers a wide range of training to support study and research. We are also responsible for curriculum-based information searching studies. Library's online guides support you in your studies and research. As a member of our higher education community you can also book a time for personal guidance.

TAMK information searching workshops

Enrol on workshops on TAMK Main Campus library unit: For Thursday workshops enrol on previous Tuesday at the latest, for Friday workshops enrol on previous Wednesday at the latest. These weekly workshops are aimed at the students of TAMK.

Information searching studies for students

The Library is responsible for all curriculum-based information searching studies at Tampere Universities. Information searching studies are integrated into the curriculum.

All teaching in spring 2019 is held according to the current curricula. The new curricula become valid 1 August 2019.

Training for researchers, teachers, and other staff

In addition to students, we offer a variety of training for researchers, teachers, and other staff members at Tampere Universities. We train you to use the Library's search portals, electronic resources and reference management tools. To support research we offer training on for example open publishing, research data management and impact and visibility of scientific research. Information about our future training sessions is available in Future training section.
