About me

I started as Senior Research Fellow in Tampere Institute of Advanced Study (Tampere IAS). My research is focuses on sustainable anti-icing solutions by future surface engineering designs. 

In addition, I am working as Senior Research Fellow and Ice Team Leader in Materials Science and Environmental Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. My research areas are icing related research including the development of icephobic coatings and surfaces as well as the development of icing testing facilities for different application related conditions. Also, I am the main responsible person for the Ice Laboratory. In addition, I am focused on research and development of different kind of coatings and surface engineering solutions for different applications. Especially, I am focused on cold spraying and thermal spraying, coating manufacturing and coating materials and their properties and performances.
