Donate to TAMK Foundation

The purpose of the Tampere University of Applied Sciences Foundation is to support research, development, innovation and art at TAMK. Companies and communities can donate to the foundation.

The Tampere University of Applied Sciences Foundation was established in 2013. The foundation assets are based on the prior funds of Tampere University of Applied Sciences and Pirkanmaa University of Applied Sciences. In addition, the foundation continuously collects donations to fulfil its purpose.

TAMK students and members of staff may apply for grants to promote their studies or research. The foundation supports, for example, carrying out of thesis work, production of publications, and study trips. The foundation may also invite and finance visiting lecturers.

The Tampere University of Applied Sciences Foundation accepts donations. For organisations and associations which pay income tax in Finland donations to a university of applied sciences are tax deductible (see - TVL, 57§ subsection 1, paragraph 2, and subsection 2, (1535/92) and Income Tax Act (1551/92) 2 – 3 §). The donor must also inform the financial administration of their own organisation in order for the payment to be carried out.

The donor has to fill in, print and sign a deed of donation. The signed deed of donation is then sent to the address given on the form. NB: Even if you fill in the deed of donation online, you will still need to print out the e-form, sign it by hand, and post it to TAMK as a paper document.  Only paper versions of the deed are acceptable because of the requirement for an original signature.
