Requirements

Accepted examination and exercises. Hyväksytyt tentti ja harjoitukset.
Completion parts must belong to the same implementation

Learning Outcomes

When passing the course student knows common methods for monitoring of machinery and he can apply the methods in right way in order to get reliable measurement results. He can plan the measurement action, choose right measurement method and measurement equipment and can define suitable measurement settings for certain typical machinery monitoring cases. Student gets familiarize with some ready-for-use measurement instruments and soft wares and he also can implement a personal measurement environment with graphical programming software. He knows standardised machinery operation monitoring methods and machinery vibration modal and operational modal analysis methods. The course concentrates on rotating machinery monitoring technology but also other methods like wear and material crack monitoring methods are handled.
