Learning Outcomes

- After completing the study module, a student is able to
- name typical features of a mechatronic machine and can list typical mechatronic components,
- use and select actuators and sensors in mechatronic applications,
- recognize the application potential and limitations of microsystems and micromachines in mechatronic applications,
- apply the design method of mechatronic machine and implement the method in practice,
- explain the operation principles and components in hydraulic, electro-mechanical and active material servo systems,
- compare and analyse hydraulic, electro-mechanical and active material servo control systems in time and frequency domain,
- to write technical reports and scientific publications and give technical presentations in English,
- start doctoral studies in mechatronics and microsystems or an R&D career in industry,
