Learning Outcomes

- List and describe main research areas of computational biology.
- Use computational tools, such as Matlab, to implement and solve simple problems in biological data analysis and computational modeling of biological systems and processes.
- Provide examples of how computational models are used in the study of biological systems and processes.
- Implement models of simple biological systems.
