Description:
The course deals with psychology of human behavior and its design implications in pervasive computing. Areas covered are cognition, attention, emotion, personality, consumption, group behavior, communication and values. Pervasive computing as an application area is introduced and design implications are elaborated. Course consists of lectures, exercises (basic UX research) and assignments (design exercises on applying psychology to pervasive computing).
